This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
So, I haven't posted a comic here in two weeks. Last week, it was a special issue, so it just went on the site. The week before that, I just didn't give a damn. I did release to the site two weeks ago, but early.
My new schedule is brutal, and I always end up sleep deprived. It reminds me of the early days of the site, which is unpleasant. I would get so little sleep. The difference is now that I'll nap here and there to lessen the effects, and I'll sleep a day away if I need it. Even getting an hour or two in the evening after work helps. I also have some stuff going on in my life. I've had worse, and I've had better, but it's stuff all the same.
Tonight's issue is about the constitutionality of the Individual Mandate. I firmly believe it to be constitutional. What is lost in the comic, however, is that I still disagree with the Individual Mandate itself. I feel the problem is not that people do not buy insurance, it is that they cannot afford it.
I run into this issue quite often. I have some criticisms of the liberal side of things, too, and of Obama. But then the Tea Party pipes up about Obama's birth certification and it's so racist and ignorant it warrants bashing. It's more that one side is more annoying to me than the other. Sure, Obama has made some poor policy decisions, to put it lightly. I disagree with almost all of Obama's foreign policy. Still, Obama strikes me as more rational. He doesn't make the other side out to be the Anti-Christ, and that appeals to me. Then you have the Republicans, who just try to obstruct everything.
